Effective October 15, 2025 – Insurance information is required for all Vehicle Registration Renewals and related transactions.

DCNR appreciates the feedback received regarding providing a title and registration for those buyers who reside outside of Pennsylvania, and has decided to keep the long-held practice in place. Dealers may continue to issue titles and registrations to buyers who reside outside of Pennsylvania when buyers are financing the purchase. If the buyer is not financing the purchase, the dealer and buyer can determine if a title is necessary, or if the tourist registration is sufficient. (Some states like Maryland do title snowmobiles, while others like New Jersey do not title snowmobiles.)

To sign up as a new dealer, please contact the Snow/ATV Unit at 1-866-545-2476.

To renew your dealer registration, login above and select Renew Dealer Registration from the navigation menu.

Make sure the back of the certificate of origins are signed, dated, and notarized.
